Guest guest
Hi Rhudell, I go to a water exercise class for arthritis two times a week too. Sometimes I have to push myself to go , but it makes me feel better in the long run. They work on the joints with the pressure of the water and its in a warm pool at 93-94 degrees. You are the first one I have heard of that does that as well. Luv, Debbierhudell_bbd wrote: Hello group. I'm really touched by the responses to my introductory email. The question most often coming up is "what meds are you on"? So here goes: Amaryl 2 mgCozaar 50 mg twice a dayFolic Acid 1 mg (Tues. thru Sun.)Fosamax 70 mg (every Mon.)INH 300 mgMen's Multi VitaminMethotrexatre 2.5 mg (every Mon.)Oscal 500mg (twice a day)Plaquenil 200 mgK-dur Potassium 20 meqPrednisone 5 mg (20 mg every day)Remecade (every 6 weeks)Vitamin B6 100 mgVitamin C 500 mgZyrtec 10 mgHydroxychlorothiazide 50mg*Bextra 20 mg Some differences between me and other Sarko's is I've had a laminectomy. After years of a mystery illness and me becoming paralyzed from the waist down, the did the surgery to pronouce, "Yep! He's got sarcoidosis!" Then began all the meds and rehab. The med-list above is my daily routine unless otherwise noted. We've tried different combinations only to come back to this mixture that enables me to partake in an arthritis water exercise class twice a week; I have traveled to Europe every year for the last seven years;I go to Florida 3-4 times a year. Since I've been able to walk again, I've become very active!I was on Enbrel for a couple of years. It was very effective. I took it to Germany and was able to visit there for a couple of months without complication. I met some sarcoidosis sufferers there and we exchanged stories of baffling doctors and technicians both here and all over Europe. more later*I am still taking small amounts of Bextra towards total elimination of it from my regimen. ~~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~~The Neurosarcoidosis CommunityNS CHAT:- Has been cancelled for now.Message Archives:-http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/messagesMembers Database:-Listings of locations, phone numbers, and instant messengers.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/database

Luv, Debbie Hi Rhudell and Debbie, I learned that aquatic exercises were good last summer ... my dad has a pool that he puts up every year ... it was the only place that I could move my legs freely without limitations and pain! ... I was going to join our local church's pool this winter, but I didn't have the money with no income ... maybe next winter! Rhudell, I too am in NJ ... South Jersey ... Long Beach Island...
