Guest guest
Well I have a lot of catching up to do. Yesterday morning I had to take my computer in to have the power switch changed. I was suppose to get it back in the afternoon. BUT.. when we went to go pay off a bill for $300 we saw a mini van for sale for $350. So we looked at it called the owner and bought it. It had NO brakes except for the parking brake. drove it home that way (30 mile drive). Then we spent the rest of the day working on the van. We put new brakes, rotars, calipers in and then saw that it needed new struts. So I made the second trip to town to get that and an air filter. changed them. He also attempted to change the rear brakes but couldn't get the drum off. So today we took it to the shop to have that fixed and an exhaust leak fixed. So tomorrow morning we will be up early to go get spring coils for it since one was broken. will have to have that changed right away because it has an appointment at 11am for an alignment. Hopefully then we will have all the bugs worked out of it. Oh ya, we checked the fluids last night. Oh My God...the other people where morans and where lucky it still ran. Just about every fluid was bone dry. I'm glad we checked that!!! But other than all of that I'm really happy with it. It's a 90' Grand Carivan. Fully loaded, and the interior is in excellent shape, once I cleaned out the mess the other people where so nice to leave for us. And best of all Mark was so patient and good during all of this! Just wanted to share. Tina Reese

We looked on Blue Book and the van is worth $2,500. We have put $900 into it since buying it but we shouldn't have to worry about it nickel and diming us to death because everything in it is new and fixed. And we are lucky that knows how to fix just about anything on cars. Saves us a lot of money!!! My favorite thing it the temperature and compase above your head. I have always wanted a vehicle like that. Silly but I have. ;O) Tina Reese

He is even rebuilding a mustang. He rebuilt the motor, and we are redoing the whole inside and outside of it. It is handy to have someone like that around! Guest guest
hee hee hee my husband is very talented at alot of things but cars NOT. The last time he changed the oil in the truck he forgot the plug. We watched as a pretty stream of 5 cans of oils rolled down the driveway. Who WOULD like a guy that could fix cars... or at least change the oil.
