Guest guest
> I would like an answer to that also. The feeling is quite strange. Why is it that it only hits when we want to rest? If you find out the answer, could you let me know? Mine have been going on for about 1 month now. NO FUN!!!!! My name is Tammie and I am a single mother of a teenager. Can we say STRESS. > Hi Tammie As soon as I find out I'll be sure and let you know! I have an appt with my dr tomorrow, believe me it will be one of the first questions I ask! The spasms are really a VERY strange feeling and annoying to not only me but my poor husband as well LOL. Welcome to the boards Tammie! Guest guest
> I think most of us who have RSD have this in one way or another. When ever I'm relaxed it happens. Doesn't even matter if I'm going to sleep or not. It happened to me on the train one time, and it felt like I almost jumped out of my seat. It's like a bad muscle twitch. My doctor gave me Valium and that's seems to have helped it, the Valium has also helped with my hands shaking for no reason, and muscle cramps. Just one of the things we put up with when we have RSD. > I get them mostly at night, Ive been noticing that it will start if Im completely relaxed like when watching tv or something...I hope they can find something to help it. I do have the slight tremor as well in my left hand which is somewhat new but I dont really notice it unless I purposely go looking at it. These are such fun things to deal with NOT!!!!
