Dear Pat,

and I are houseparents at a children's home. The school is

also here, (kinda like a boarding school for troubled kids). Our kids

attend this school also, which is actually not good at all. Also,

the " company " that runs this place is lacking in a lot of areas that

we did not know about until after we got here. We had an interview at

a great facility in North Carolina, but the space they have for our

family of 4 to live in is 3 VERY small rooms. We just don't know for

sure what to do at this point, we just know that we have to leave

where we are as soon as possible.

Hi Carmen,

Is there anyway that you could rent off site? Or just make it work for a

short while until you are sure this is a good place to be? I certainly can

understand your concerns for your kids where you are now. Although the

Children's Home in my hometown of Berea, is good, I still don't think I

would want my kids attending school with some of it's inhabitants. Both of

my sisters are therapeutic foster parents so I know where you're coming

from.
