I have info here

Fluffy can be yeast. Green is usually undigested food, or eating

foods that are green or blue, or a bile production issue. Sand-like

grains that are dark, can be many things.

Is this because he is not eating while sick, or because he is on

medication? Can you determine why this might be?

If you suspect a food issue, you can consider rotating foods to find

other problem foods

http://www.danasview.net/rotation.htm

Or consider enzymes

Some kids have diarrhea because they need zinc.

Hi,

My son had the exact same problem. I traced his problems down to

vitamins and food digestion. At the time, we were using Freeda's

vitamins. They have 20mg iron. We removed the vitamins. He is now

on custom blended vitamins and they work great.

Second, we put him on enzymes(I use a combo of kirkman complete

w/DPP IV and No Fenol from Houston Nauticals) and for the first time

in his life, he had good solid stools and we have not had a problem

in over 6 months.

With better stools came better behaviour. He is still very hyper

but his behavior is much better.

Thanks for the reply. I will check out your site re:yeast. (Great

site by the way, I checked out the metals section the other day.)

When he has a cold, he may get a dose or two of Motrin the first day

if he has a fever and his eating changes little. We put a vaporizer

on at night for him, but that is about the only change! He will

usually have 1 or 2 solid BM's at the end of his cold and then go

right back to diarrhea.

He was almost in the red (low) for zinc so I will try to up his

consumption of zinc. How much is too much? When you supplement,

should you take into consideration how much he is getting naturally

in food?

I am looking into ways to reduce his exposure, but I may have hit a

wall. We are surrounded by farms that use chemical farming methods.

I am afraid that is where ds is getting the arsenic. Dh would never

agree to move, and we can't afford a reverse-osmosis if it is in the

water. I am working my way through the links on your site - any that

would be better than the others for source removal ideas?

Thank you so much for your help. Our MD thinks I am a little off my

rocker with all this stuff (as well as my in-laws!) so all I have are

the wonderful people on this site and the sites they point me to, and

a few books at our rural library.

Thanks again!

He might have a virus issue, and the fever knocks it back for a few days.

Start at USRDA and work up.

I don't, unless my kids are eating LOTS of a certain food, or if they

are eating foods which are high in certain minerals.

Depends on which minerals/metals you are trying to remove.

My family thought I was off my rocker until my

formerly-low-functioning-Kanners-autism child recovered. Now they

give my phone number to all their friends. Not sure this is all that

good tho LOL. My mother says " my daughter cured my grandson with

voodoo stuff that actually WORKS " . I do get many calls tho.

For MDs who ask, I just say " alternative medicine " . I am strange

enough, I don't need any CPS referrals.

Good luck.
