We are reading about chelation and I looked online for ALA, and saw

Sustain Release ALA.

Are we supposed to buy this for chelation?

The other brands of ALA did not indicate what kind of release they

were. Would someone pls. clarify the difference between sustain and

time release.

How about DMSA is that also of specific type we need to use?

Thanks

Sustained release seems to be no good, as it is not properly absorbed in some

parts of the digestive tract.

Dagmar.

I assume the brands which dont state what they are, are not

sustained release. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

you are correct.

Also, the kind of ALA you want is the most commonly sold

type.... it is not obscure. If they are selling something

" special " or " extra fancy " , that is probably not it.

good wishes,
