Amy-

The thing is, when you're having a C-section, at least there is the payoff-

G-d willing, a beautiful baby! With the myo, whaddaya get? A big glob that

you can use as a doorstop or something (didn't someone- Roma, was it you?- say

that they kept theirs?) Anyway, the dilemma is much easier if you have serious

probs/heavy bleeding, etc. that a myo will cure! With asymptomatic ones, it

is so much harder to make the decision whether to go under the knife! So...

Yolanda (or anyone else who had a myo for asymptomatic fibroids)-

I would be very grateful if you would elaborate! In what way did you feel

much better after one you were fibroid-free??? How had the " asymptomatic "

fibroids been affecting your life that you did not realize? Mine are pretty

much

" asymptomatic " ...but I'm wondering if I am in denial & if I would actually feel

much better once they were out. As far as I know, I feel basically *fine*

w/them (minor bladder pressure sometimes- an occasional " twanging " pain...that's

about it).

Thanks & Happy 2004 to all!
