Guest guest
Does anyone have any healthy dinner recipes to share? I want to try and stay in and not eat out so much on my next seven off. Yes....I know you have all heard it before! LOL! My hurdles are to cut down on my Diet Dr. Pepper. Yesterday I only had 2. That's great! I was at like 3 or 4. Ugh! I also wanted to NOT each after I get off work at midnight. I have accomplished that for the last few weeks! YES! I also want not eat out so much. Sometimes it's just easier and cheaper. But I brought my recipes that I have with me to work and I was going to look through them and see what I could make for dinners this week to save on money and eat healthy. I realized I have mostly desserts, appetizers, soups, or smoothies. I need some MEAL recipes. Not all the sides just a main dish. I know how to cook by watching my mom all of these years but her foods just don't taste as great if you make them low fat or low calorie. I need some ideas! If you have them....send them! Thanks! P.S. I weighed this morning at 200. That's 1 lb. out of leeway. I have 4 more days to go. I think I'm going to do this! ! ! Went for a 30 minute walk last night. I hope to do an hour tonight. I got home at 12:30 a.m. and had to get back up at 8:45 so I didn't want to stay up too late. It came frozen and you thawed it. It was absolutely delicious but I was never able to find it again. It was like a cranberry sauce but had celery and I think nuts in it. Anybody have a recipe for something similar? I used to have a recipe made from Raspberry Jell-O, a tart apple, cored but not peeled, a can of whole cranberry sauce, celery, and nuts. How much you use of each ingredient depends on how many people you serve. Make it the day before and all the flavors meld together. Sugar free Jell-O can be used.
