My son is in the bar 18 hours a day. He started walking about a week and a

half ago. I can' t believe that in the six hours a day he is allowed out of

them he has learned to walk. I think if he didn't have clubfoot he would have

been walking very early. It is hard for me too. I would like to be able to

hold and cuddle him the way I did with my daughter but that stupid (necessary)

bar gets in the way sometimes. I am grateful to the bar because I know it

will correct his clubfoot but it is also a point of aggravation at times.

I just have to keep looking to the future. It can sometimes be hard.

Thanks everyone for your comments. We go back in 2 months, so I will

see what he has to say then and go from there. Even with asking

questions to try to clarify I find our dr. difficult to understand

sometimes. I will keep you posted.
