Guest guest Posted November 7, 2004 Report Share Posted November 7, 2004 Speaking of Lilly, they are apparently running short on Humalog - the insulin that we use to keep my daughter alive. Luckily, we still have an extra bottle here. When I went to the pharmacy yesterday they gave me Novalog (from Novo Nordisk) instead. While these insulins act similiarly, they are made differently and don't work the same for everyone and don't work at all for others. The pharmacist at Rite Aid said this is the 2nd time in the last 3 months that they've tried to order it and have been told that Eli Lilly is having a shortage. I'm not amused.
