Subject: Do you know, if not, Find out - Just What's in

the Medicine?

I read a letter from a parent recently which prompted me

to write

this, as a caution to all who may not realise what may

be in the

medicine.......though i'm sure most of you do.

Children's Medicines may contain ingredients such as

E216,E218,E122

(which the hyperactive support group recommend should be

avoided by

susceptible children)

*azo dye E122 is known to produce adverse reactions in

sensitive

people ie: those with Asprin allergy or asthma.

From a bottle of (childrens -Pink in colour) Paracetamol

Suspension i

was alarmed to see the only ingredient listed

is...Paracetamol !!

Childrens medicines (Adults too) may contain High Sugar,

additives and chemical sweeteners, which may well cause

your

child problems.

Always read the labels, your GP or Pharmacist may not be

able to tell

you the full ingredients, in which case contact the Drug

manufacturer.

Best wishes,

Margaret.
