Guest guest
My daughter and her fiance are considering Cedar Point Amusement park for their honeymoon. Has anyone been there? Any suggestions on what to eat in the park or surrounding areas? Thanks Judy Gettysburg PA
Guest guest
Judy, They say there are no things as coincidences eh? I just copied this post from the Delphi Forums for my own files. I'm sure the donuts and such are not gf, but you should be able to eat at Transport Refreshments which the website says has gf foods. 54509.2 in reply to 54509.1 This is from the Cedar Point website (I was planning a trip there, too): " You've never tasted anything as succulent as the award-winning barbecue goodies served up at Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que©, a restaurant overlooking the Cedar Point Marina. Visit Donut Time for freshly-made donuts, cinnamon rolls, muffins and Starbucks coffee. The sports-themed Game Day Grille features large screen TVs and classic fan fare. Find great park favorites along the midways, including 25-cent cotton candy! We've also added a number of new menu items throughout the park including many gluten-free foods at Transport Refreshments. Guest guest
Hi! Here is information I just copied from www.cedarpoint.com regarding Transport Refreshments: Transport Refreshments: Cheese On-A-Stick, Corn Dogs, Grilled Triple Cheese, Hot Chocolate, Hot Dogs, Hot Tea, Italian Sausage Hoagie, Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich, Pepsi Soft Drinks, Philly Steak Sandwich, Pizza (6 " personal pizza) That scares me...... Maybe they didn't update that part of the site. Does anyone have any other information/experiences? Thanks! Guest guest
Oh no, I am now answering myself! Ugg... ;-) More searching- I found this on the Cedar Point blog: Some of the bigger changes include the addition of gluten-free food items (for those with allergy concerns) at Transport Refreshments, new " Chicken Bites-of-Fire " at several locations throughout the park, fresh Lake Erie perch sandwich baskets (includes sandwich and fries), fresh fruit with creamy custard, sirloin steak burgers at Coasters Drive-In, Toft's Midway Milk Cart (featuring flavored milk) and a variety of new frozen novelties. I will have to check these out! Very exciting! Thanks! > Chrissy, Toledo OH > son , age 7, dx 4/05 > > > > I'm sure the donuts and such are not gf, but you should be able to > eat at Transport Refreshments which the website says has gf foods. > >
