Guest guest
I had my TT on May 23 at a hospital approx. 2hrs away from home. So I decided to find a local doctor to do my RAI so I wouldn't have the distance to travel post-RAI. Anyway I have a handful of Endo to choose from. I consulted one doctor who doesnt really want to treat me, wants me to go back to the initial hospital. I told him my concerns about the travel. He is quite rude to put it politely. Then I get a call from Nucleur Medicine that he schedule a RAI scan. I was told not to eat seafood and to not take meds for a week. I asked are you sure that I only come off my meds for a week??? He said well you have to clear that with your endo if you should be off longer. I know this doesnt sound right to me from what I have read. Is the ablation supposed to be before or after the scan? I scheduled a appointment with another endo 30min from here to see if he had any more medical knowledge then this doctor, since it seems to me this one didnt want to treat me cause he doesnt know how. I appreciate any input on this I could get.
