Guest guest
My wife and I just found out that our baby boy due Sep 4th has bilateral clubfoot. It has been diagnosed as moderate to severe and we are looking for some help. We have looked into Dr P. quite a bit and would like to hear about some real results from someone who has been through what we are getting ready for. We have many questions of course, we are in Phoenix, AZ and wonder if there is anything local here being done. Would also like some opinions on surgery vs. this method we have read about being performed by Dr. Ponseti himself or someone practicing his methods. Please help us if you can. and
Guest guest
Hi, we are in kind of the same boat. Our boy, yet unnamed, is due 8/9 and was diagnosed with bilateral clubfoot. We were not shocked since my husband was born with it (went on to grow 6 foot 6 inches and play college basketball). I, too, could not find any " local " doctors on the Ponseti site. But I emailed Dr. Ponseti with regard to my location and he emailed back indicating that another doctor (just down the street from us) had just sent him information and pictures regarding his work and Dr. Ponseti said he would be adding him to his site and recommend him. So that is something you may want to try, too. All in all, I think information is the best comfort now. We are meeting with the Doctor recommended this Friday to outline the treatment and get comfortable with him. Good luck!! tat2max5 tat2max5@...> wrote: My wife and I just found out that our baby boy due Sep 4th has bilateral clubfoot.
