Guest guest
my eyes water all the time too, I'm told it's due to dry eyes, but when I use drops they seem drier, I know the trick is to keep using the drops and they will get better! Marla, thank you for reinforcing the need for the artificial tears. It is too important to keep the tear film balanced, so that we can get the best vision possible. Also, alot of us have Sjorgens, the dry mouth, eyes, sinuses, etc. When the sarc does hit our eyes, our tear glands under the eyelids enlarge, and don't work like they should. RESTASIS eye drops (by prescription) is helping alot. Talk to the MD about them. Tracie

Guest guest
Tracie, Do you get Restasis from your eye dr. or PCP? I've heard about it on TV. I do use eye drops just not good at keeping them up, know what I mean, but when the eyes hurt, they sure do feel good!! Are you doing better, you are in my prayers. Guest guest
Thanks for the information, I think I might call and see if I can get some. Marla Re: dry eyes Restasis is a prescription eye drop. It is actually cyclosporin for the eyes. It seems to work by shrinking the tear glands back to normal. It was actually developed by the Ophthalmologists at Univ So. California Los Angeles. I actually saw the MD that developed them. You do need to get them via your Ophthalmologist. Also, if you know people with arthritis, or Sjorgens-- these drops help the dry eye problem so very well. t ~~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~~The Neurosarcoidosis CommunityNS CHAT:- Has been cancelled for now.Message Archives:-http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/messagesMembers Database:-Listings of locations, phone numbers, and instant messengers.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/database
