Guest guest
Okay, so I'm starting to believe you guys not to fret over the Tg levels, which therefore leads me to question my endo: He had said prior to receiving the tg results that if the latter came back undetectable or less than 3, I would not need to proceed with any WBS/RAI, that I would only need routine office follow-ups b/c I could safely assume that there was no cancer in my body. Based on my research and what I've read here that sounds like that is a potentially inaccurate (and therefore life-threatening) assumption...which in turn leads me to question the expertise of my endo. Maybe I misinterpreted him, but I seriously doubt it. I live in Maine, and although I love my state I sometimes worry about the medical care that I receive (never a shortage of things to worry about). My endo says he deals with thyca " all the time " , but Maine is not a very big state, and the number of thyca pts must be relatively small compared with the bigger medical centers. Anyone else out there ! from Maine?
