Guest guest
Folks, My 3.5 ASD son's DAN practitioner put him on liquid Selenium last week (he had low levels of it) and since then the following has happened: His stools have been somewhat solid (chronic diarreha little fellow), his speech has improved (today I heard him say like five new rote sentences!), but...he looks very sickly (bigger bags under his eyes than usual), acts yeasty (silly, and very rigid though he transitions out of it fast), is very clammy (he feels like rubber!) and today I noticed a big red yeast ring on his bottom. No other changes have been made (except switching to non-flavored cod liver from artic naturals) and I am wondering if Selenium could be causing any of this. If so, is this something that will go away eventually? txs

What are the additives in the selenium liquid? Dana

You might want to stop using it and see if you notice improvement. You can scroll down this page to my selenium toxicity symptoms and see if any of your child's symptoms are listed here http://www.danasview.net/metals.htm Dana
