I had my left hip resurfaced in april 2002 by Mr Mcminn, im 47 now.

just been skiing for a week in switzerland. Had absolutely no

problems at all , went off piste , fell a few times , didnt get a

peep out of the hip, didnt know anything had been done. I waited 2

years to do this on the surgeons say so , as by now the implanted

acetabulum has been totally stabilised and the rest of the bone has

hardened up and remodelled. However I was naughty and started

playing golf after six months.

I recomend this op to everyone who the surgeons think it is

possible to do.

I went on the usa hip support group and got a load of backchat from

the total hippies. they are of the opinion this method is flawed in

some way.More fool them
