Guest guest
I had my left hip resurfaced in april 2002 by Mr Mcminn, im 47 now. just been skiing for a week in switzerland. Had absolutely no problems at all , went off piste , fell a few times , didnt get a peep out of the hip, didnt know anything had been done. I waited 2 years to do this on the surgeons say so , as by now the implanted acetabulum has been totally stabilised and the rest of the bone has hardened up and remodelled. However I was naughty and started playing golf after six months. I recomend this op to everyone who the surgeons think it is possible to do. I went on the usa hip support group and got a load of backchat from the total hippies. they are of the opinion this method is flawed in some way.More fool them david
