Guest guest
I'm taking Cortef (10mg in am and 10mg after lunch). She also has me taking pregnelone daily. I take another drug called Provigil...if I just can't stay awake on the drive home or I'm having an really stressful day. I don't take the Provigil everyday though. They use this drug for narcolepsy patients but, does wonders for people like me that could not stay awake on the drive home. Lots of ladys have been talking about the late crash they get...I used to get it so bad I almost wrecked in the car soooo many times. The doc finally gave me the provigil to help that. The pregnelone I found out by not taking it for a 1 1/2 that it does do something for me. I kept having this lingering fatigue and went and got the prescription finally. After two days... back to normal. Anyway, I also take spinoralactone for achne (doesn't work that great...but it's better than before). At this moment I'm still having bladder problems though. I sent this out to the news group and found others with this problem but no solution. I made an appointment with the doc to make sure I don't have a bladder infection. I'll know by tomorrow afternoon though. I hope this helps. BTW... I have been on this treatment for 10 months now. Guest guest
I had to take Provigil because I was falling asleep on the way to work. About 2 hours after I get up, I could fall right back to sleep. It's awful. Guest guest
I've been following this thread - and was contemplating asking how long it took for the T3 to be out of your system - as in, when to take a 2nd dose. And you answered it! I take my 1st dose early in the morning and a 2nd later at night. I'm thinking one of my tactics with my doctor will be to ask if she will give me at least enough armour for a 3rd dose... if not, I got my meds today in the mail, I'll just start taking them. I don't think I can get in to see the doctor until after the holiday though - on my account. No time! Cris Re: Re: (LaCretia) CURRENT HORMONAL EXPERIENCE is interesting... I think you will find if you take even a small amount of your meds later in the day, like noon to 3 PM you will not be as tired during the slump times. That was IT for me. If you do not convert well and many of us don't, you will run out of T3 about 5 hours after your AM dose. The half life is 4 hours for T3 from what I have read so it is declining after that. I actually feel when mine drops off and it reminds me to take my next dosage! I also cannot eat in the mornings. It has made me physically ill all my life to eat anything before 10 or later. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes?
