Guest guest
Thanks Sanna! I'm glad to hear from you, I hope that Veeti is doing well, he must be getting so big now. I will let you know what the article looks like once it is in print! and (23 Jan 03) Re: Update on publicity for Ponseti Method (South Africa) Oh wow , that sounds so exciting!! You have done fantastic work! Sanna & Veeti (05/06/02) > Hi, > > It's taken a while, but it's finally happening ... the Ponseti Method will be featured in June in TLC magazine - see details below. This was as a result of the recent radio interview we did. I am meeting the journalist on Monday, she will also be interviewing our two qualified Ponseti doctors and comparing the method with the surgery currently offered by other doctors. This is the first print coverage we will be getting here, but there will also be some coverage in a local baby magazine around June. > > About TLC: > " 1.9 Million Readers, predominantly female between the ages of 20 and 45 years > > Distribution through: > â–ª Waiting Rooms of medical professionals > â–ª 100% of registered medical professionals > â–ª Selected hospitals and clinics nationwide > â–ª Planet Fitness Gyms > â–ª Nationwide National Newsagents > > The publication presents a collection of features over 160 pages; these targeted at specific members of the family. Guest guest
Thanks and Kassia, The radio interview went very well (it was on 9th March). Dr Eltringham was on with me and although it was only about 10 minutes long, we managed to get a lot of information across about the Ponseti Method. I was contacted by some people after it via the website and since then I'm happy to say that at least one parent has switched to the Ponseti Method from conventional casting. Every baby that avoids surgery is a victory! Thanks for all the support in this group, I really enjoy reading everyone's mails and advice. And Kassia, best of luck for 's ATTT surgery this month, we'll be thinking of him. and 24 Jan 2003, bilateral cf, DBB www.clubfoot.co.za
