Had the Gastroendoscopy

Well, I had the Gastroendoscopy this morning (camera shoved down throat

to take pictures of stomach). No problems except I did not go under very

deep and was aware of a lot of what was going on, but couldnt move ..

weird .. didnt happen like that the last 2 times I had it.

I got there at 7 am .. started the procedure at 7:35 .. and was checking

out at 8:20am. Quickest time ever I think .. even the nurse said, " You

sure do wake up easy. " I was like .. " I dont think I ever went really to

sleep.. just got relaxed. " She said, " Oh no .. it just feels that way. "

and then I said, " Well, I heard the doctor tell you to biopsy the

samples. "

The look on her face was great! She said .. you heard that? and

remembered it? I said .. yea .. I also heard the doctor sneeze and

complain the room was cold this morning. She went back to the station

and the doctor came back in and asked me what I could feel of the

procedure. I told him the plastic thing that goes in between my teeth

came out once and the nurse had to hold it in .. plus I heard you

sneeze.

He asked, " Did you feel any discomfort? or pain? " I told him, " Only near

the end .. it felt like you were digging in my tummy. " He just shook his

head and said, " We are going to make a note on your chart about this ..

so the next time, we can make sure you are completely out. "

I told him .. Yea .. this time wasnt bad .. but I sure as heck wouldnt

want to be awake through some of the procedures you do!

Anyway .. the stomach and esophogus all looked good .. better than last

time .. and I will know about the biopsy in about 2 weeks.

So .. I have come home.. ate breakfast and cleaned and vacuumed out the

pool. I feel pretty good .. relaxed .. but not sleepy. My hubby stayed

home today to be with me .. lol .. he has been asleep for an hour now..

fell asleep reading the paper! Well, gonna go .. got laundry to do..
