Marlena,

Thanks for responding to my question. I agree with

you.

I have a friend who is tall and slender. She has

never cared for " sweets " , yet she drinks beer almost

24/7. She does not eat much. She " snacks " all the

time. She can eat three almonds and be through

(whereas I'd have to eat several!!). Healthy? No

way. She picks at her food when she has a " healthy "

plate, but she will drink several beers. She is not

an alcoholic, but she loves her " lite " beer.

My point is, she is still consuming carbs from the

beer, but not from food. She does not " crave " sweets,

but she still consume carbs in one way or another. So

even if people tell me they don't " crave " sweets, I

don't argue with them. I know they are consuming

carbs in one way or another. They are just not carb

intolerant as much as others. We are all different.

I bet if I started drinking beer and not eating, I'd

still gain weight (I can't stand beer).
