Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just a note to say that Dr. Schmale at Children's in Seattle did consult with Dr. Mosca and they have decided that the re-casting for Evan's relapse is the way to go. Even though his is a " dynamic deformity " and his feet look great when still, he pulls in when walking. The real diagnosis is overactive tibialis. Still, Mosca thinks the casting and back into the FAB will do the trick. So all our fingers are crossed. He gets his casts on May 27. We are getting prepared for a very GRUMPY boy. So...next question: the new shoes look so comfy (at least compared to the others!) Are they available in sizes for big kids? How long does it take to get them once you order? and Evan (8-17-00, bilateral cf)

Guest guest
Good to hear that thay think that casting will work! > So...next question: the new shoes look so comfy (at least > compared to the others!) Are they available in sizes for big kids? > How long does it take to get them once you order? I don't think so, but you should get ahold of and ask. When Kai needed a pair, his feet were already bigger than the biggest molds that had and he had to make entirely new molds and basically made them custom to Kai's feet. BUT, having gotten thing up and running a bit, and having faced the challenge of Kai, he might have adjusted the original plan to include larger sizes Angel
