Especially when I hear that his first choice if he has to be in long term care is to be here in Murfreesboro w/ me. *cry* They can't find a nursing home down there that can take him. They're all full. The VA hospital here has a mile long waiting list. I'm going to call around to some nursing homes around here tomorrow and see if I can find one w/ a bed. His doctor said that the nursing home can do everything they are doing which at this point isn't much other than waiting to see what's going to happen. I seriously don't see him recovering enough to leave the hospital or the nursing home tho. I'm going to call around to some places around here tomorrow to see what i can find out. If anything is available. And the holidays being here makes it worse. This is the time of year we lost my grandma (dad's mom) when I was a kid. I'd rather just skip Thanksgiving.
