MAybe now that your husband knows that your mom isn't here to make the day special, he will? At least know that all of us in your lupie family will be thinking of you! I bet you are on our birthday calendar of reminders, and you will get lots of greetings from your friends, here at Lupies. About your hubby, I can't tell you what to do about that, but I don't have my birthdays with my Dad any more, and we shared one. He always told people I was his best birthday present ever...so it was extra hard for me when he passed away. However, I started sending myself a big bouquet ( I order it months in advance.) and a loving message so that no matter who forgets me on that day, I am still surprised with something beautiful. Guest guest Posted February 26, 2004 Report Share Posted February 26, 2004 Jeanette I am sorry that you are feeling this way sweetie.....I know how you feel when you lose someone or a parent this may will be 12 years for my dad to be gone and it still hurts me. I get days to where i still sit here and think about him and how much i miss him and cry alot over him still. Do like barb said try to do something special for yourself that you normally wouldn't do for yourself. We are all here for you sweetie....You are in my thoughts and prayers.
