How long until her hair grows in normally?

My daughter *just* started getting hair while wearing her STARband.

Now that she's graduated (yeah!), how long until the hair

breakage " rings " around her head start growing out? I've actually had

two rude people ask me if she had medical problems that caused her hair

to be so odd. One asked if she had chemotherapy. Another asked if she

had alopecia.

I'd like to know for my own sake as well as just so we know how much

longer we have to endure the rudeness.
