Guest guest
I am self treating after 25 years of doctors testing and " practicing " on me. All those years I was never tested for antibodies! I am severely hypo now with very little if any T4 to T3 conversion. I have to take not only ALOT of Armour (or generic) but Cytomel as well. But I am finally feeling better than I have in over 20 years. Six years ago, while I was under three doctor's care, I was on 6 prescriptions, wearing compression panty hose, and they wanted to hospitalize me for unresponsive hypertension. Synthroid was one of those scripts the rest were for fluid and high blood pressure and HRT. I am now on Estrogen gel, progesterone cream (had hyst at 27 years old) Armour and Cytomel.. no blood pressure meds at all and low/normal BP! No more swelling in my feet & legs and have finally managed to lose a little weight last Spring, though it seems to be at a standstill now. I am now on 6 grains Armour and 75 mcg Cytomel. I don't think I have to worry about Graves anymore! Just when I run out of places to buy Armour or generic natural on the web! LOL *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
Geez, Val...you've really been through it all & then some, haven't you? I admire your courage & tenacity tho. Where do you buy your Armour? I need to order some more or get Naturethroid soon, not sure which yet, before I run out here. Felt better for a couple of days since Saturday evening & now in a slump again.
