Guest guest
Excellent point Vicki, I too have flat feet all my life, I went to a podiatrist many moons ago, I have to wear my orthotics constantly also. Plantar fascitis can be caused by flat feet. In addition certain types of EDS can cause flat feet. S. Re: feet problems > You will find that most of the time with foot pain it actually worsens when you first get off your feet or when you get up after being off of them for a period of time. > My arches have completely collapsed and the bones are actuslly turning in due to no support from the ligaments. I used to wear a size 6 1/2 and now I wear a size 81/2 due to my flat foodedness. Orthotics do help( at least with me).I sometimes feel that my feet are so fragile that they're going to crack apart. I have no meat or fat on them at all. I have had to put my orthotics in my slippers to wear around the house. If I don't my whole ankle will start throbbing. > I wouldn't just write if off as low BP. > > Hope you find the cause!! > > Best Wishes > Vicki > >
Guest guest
My arches have completely collapsed too. I guess one collapsed when I was a teen and I started walking on the very outside of my foot. Now my foot is completely detached from my leg. I wear orthotics and now I have a custom brace (my Forrest Gump brace) for my ankle. When I was pregnant with the last one, my feet turned into pancakes. I have terrible pain in my feet all the time. I have to have my shoes (with orthotics and brace) right beside the bed when I get up in the morning. If I try to balance without them, all my toes dislocate.
