I hope you are able to find someone. How far is NYC from you? There are a few good pain management clinics in the hospitals that I believe will take self-pay.

This is exactly what I am dealing with. Just because they read a

paragraph in med school they think they know about RSD until you

talk to them. I am thinking that I need to ask the doctor's office

just how many RSD patients he is or has treated in how many years.

Did he happen to tell you how many RSD patients he has treated?

Our job is to remain calm while we hunt for help, right? That is

difficult. Today I see my current dr and will try to remain calm as

I ask him " what in the ----is he talking about? " when he says that

I'm over " it " . Hang in there Pam, there is a doctor out there for

each of us.

Can't answer the question about Ultram although read about it on Dr.

Hooshmand's site. I'd be interested to know if anyone is using it
