Guest guest
I am 37---almost 38---and have been chelating per Andy Cutler's protocol since Sept '02. I'm guessing that I still have about 6-9 months left because I've taken a lot of little breaks between rounds. Also, I've been trying to heal while living in NYC: bad choice. I am about to leave for a summer in Oregon and then some time in Arizona. I have improved a lot and finally feel ready to live my life. I desperately want to meet a guy and have babies in the next 2 years but I worry that even after 2+ years of chelation that having a baby would be a big risk (to the child, not me). Do any of you have opinions on that? I just wonder what the permanent damage has been to my pituitary and all related functions. I had high mercury and arsenic, but normal mineral transport. I remained fully functioning at full-time stressful jobs through the worst of it. Most neurological symptoms have improved/disappeared. My issues now are food allergies, chemical sensitivities and thyroid/adrenal balancing (I'm on very low doses of Nature Thyroid and hydrocortisone). Should I give up on having my own children? Any thoughts appreciated.
Guest guest
Don't know if you've considered acupuncture to balance things. Today I had my acupuncturist balance my endocrine system, mainly to see if it will help clear my face, since my future husband and I have decided not to have children (I'm older than you). Guest guest
Hi , sure, it's for you to decide, but I would decide to have children. Mercury poisoning is a serious problem, but you don't have amalgams and chelated yourself, that's why I think that your chances for having a healthy baby are good. If you do not vaccinate your future baby and try to feed him/her organic food, supplement omega 3 etc. the baby will be even healthier. Sounds like you are well on the path to recovery and are working diligently to get well. I'm 41 and haven't yet had my amalgams removed - they will all be out by end of summer, though. And I'm definitely planning on having children in the next few years, God willing. Best wishes, Suze
Guest guest
My wife and I just had a health baby a 1 1/2 years ago and her mouth is filled with amalgam. She is pregnant now and just about 5 months ago we were going to start getting her amalgams removed and mine, well we are going to hold of on hers as we also found out 5 months ago she was pregnant again. We will probably wait now til after the new baby is done breastfeeding before we have hers removed. We are taking this approach as it seems to be common sense to avoid as much as possible any mercury actually getting into her bloodstream, even though we do have a holistic dentist who knows the proper way to remove amalgams. I think he'd probably agree as well.
Guest guest
, while you have to decide for yourself, if I were you I'd fill myself with healthy vits/minerals/fatty acids, eat healthy, organic foods, pray to The Lord for guidance, and make all the babies I wanted! Guest guest
In a famous biblical story wise King identified the true mother of a child by determining which possible mother was prepared to put the welfare of the child before her own self-interest. I would say you have passed the Test--no small feat in a world of self-centered people. If you continue to build your health over the next couple of years, I believe a child would be fortunate to have you as mom.
