Guest guest
We are currently chelating our 2 boys using Andy's protocol for timing and dosage. Since they attend school during the week, we chelate from the time they get off the bus on Friday, through Monday morning when they go back to school. What I would like to know is if it would be more effective to chelate for 1 week on, 1 week off during summer break. Or even 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. It seems to me that there would be less redistribution of mercury with the longer, but less frequent rounds. Our doctor is supportive of us trying this so long as the quarterly bloodwork (liver enzymes, etc.) remains good. Has anyone else tried this? Fewer than 3 days on, or more than 6 days on, caused a nasty yeast issue. With 3-4 days on, he was okay. But 5-6 days on was the best for him. Thanks, Chan. > > but less frequent rounds. Our doctor is supportive of us trying this > > so long as the quarterly bloodwork (liver enzymes, etc.) remains > > good. Yes, it is better to do longer rounds, and YES, it is for exactly the reason you stated. The longer the round is, the more doses-in-a-row you have. This means that the redistribution from stopping (at the end of the round) is a smaller and smaller percentage, the longer the round is. Two weeks is the longest period recommended. This is due to mineral imbalances that chelation can cause/contribute to. good wishes, Moria Our doctor is supportive of us trying this > so long as the quarterly bloodwork (liver enzymes, etc.) remains > good.
