Guest guest
Dana, I was giving olive leaf extract while he was sick but stopped. How long did it take and how much per day did you give your son before seeing changes? Im so scared of giving him anything anymore! I need DMSA because of the lead and im a little scared to buy it from some of these companies as how do i know it isnt contaminated with other stuff? Am I just being to cautious? Someone suggested colostrum for gut issues. What do you know of this? It is really hard to have a child so " normal " in most every way and then have him display these really disturbing behavors intermittently. It is definately triggered from the bug tho. patti > > You can use ALA, or buy DMSA from VRP. > > > > Good luck. > > Dana

I started him at 250 mg 1x per day, and this is what I believe broke the measles virus [i started OLE at the same time as high dose vitamin A protocol]. So I saw improvement basically right away. Now he is on significantly more than that per day. >> Im so scared of giving him anything anymore! I can sure relate to that! Cautious is always good, so long as it is not debilitating. I have not used DMSA, so I can't really comment on that. >> Someone suggested colostrum for > gut issues. What do you know of this? My son was regressing for the last 2 days, I finally figured it out 4 am this morning, causing me to wake suddenly with the lightbulb flashing, and of course I was unable to go back to sleep, and I will sincerely regret it later today LOL > It is definately triggered from the bug tho. Or lack of OLE. Good luck. Dana
Guest guest
You know, I am not so sure about it. I seem to remember that in a past post Andy said something like that with ALA it is not known, whether or not it chelates lead. Therefore there seems to be a posibility that ALA removes lead as well. With my daughter the lead in her hair went down about a third after a few weeks of using ALA only. This is no proof obviously, but taking that my daughter doesn't do well with DMSA, I now chelate both of my children with ALA only again (They are both very high in lead in their hairtest). Dagmar. I need DMSA because of the lead
Guest guest
That is encouraging. We are going to be doing another hair test for the first time in 2.5 years. It will be interesting.
