Guest guest
Well wishes and prayers being sent your way! I can imagine that must be very difficult. I did battle preterm labor woes which was hard enough. I'll send good feelings your way! , 12/6/00 Tyler, 6/30/03 > Hi Everyone, > I am going in to the hospital Monday Morning for Tests and Treatment > for my Ab Pain. Guest guest
Sharon, I had my tummy tuck in Nov 02, and got pregnant feb 03/ there has been paimn, and the only thing that has really helped the most is massage. I am fortunate to have a dh who is going to school for massage therapy. Have you thought of this approach as a non medical way to help you through this? I wish you the best I know how much it can hurt. You and the baby will be in my thoughts. ka EDD 11-7-03 WLS 3-11-02 -- Being Hospitalized On Monday(Abs not Stretching) >
Guest guest
I have to speak up here.....I don't think it's a good argument not to have a tuck prior to having babies. First of all, it's an individual choice whether to have it once they hit goal or not. Second, I think the person that posted having the problem is in the very small minority. I had the most radical abdominoplasty out there and I did fine. Sure there was discomfort but there was discomfort w/ my first pregnancy and that was before plastics. ~ BabyCopia ~ Unique and Original Baby Products ~ Preggie Pops Now Available! ~ www.babycopia.com Re: Re: Being Hospitalized On Monday(Abs not Stretching) I GUESS THIS IS A GOOD ARGUEMENT NOT TO HAVE A TUMMY TUCK BEFORE FINISHING HAVING BABIES. i WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO HAVING MY TUMMY TUCK AND HAVING A WHOLE 3 MINUTES OF LOOKING TIGHT AND GORGEOUS i BELIEVE i WILL WAIT AND HAVE THE BABIES FIRST AND PLASTICS AFTER, i WISH YOU THE BEST WITH THE PAIN AND THE BABY! Guest guest
I had the whole round of plastics before having #2 Kendra.... within 8 weeks following delivery my stomach was flat as flat could be. After breastfeeding (6 months), my breasts were back to the way they were before pregnancy (34DD). One cannot tell I had a baby and the thought that plastics are ruined following a pregnancy is just untrue. ~ BabyCopia ~ Unique and Original Baby Products ~ Preggie Pops Now Available! ~ www.babycopia.com Re: Re: Being Hospitalized On Monday(Abs not Stretching) Good point, Apryl! I was heading towards plastics, then pregnancy happened, so its on hold. grrrr There's evidently other things one can do to help the panni?? but I dont know much more. I am glad to be waiting til AFTER breastfeeding for the boob boost cuz I would have stretched out anything that was done. Definately didnt plan this pregnancy, but glad the timing worked out like it did before ps! Phyl
Guest guest
> Thanks for the words of encouragement . My plastic surgeon counseled with me before the abdominoplasty. He knew i wanted to have more children and he said things would be fine. He has other patients who have had children afterwards and didnt feel that it was a problem at all.
