Guest guest
Hello! Our 22 month old son had surgery on Friday at the hands of Dr. Herzenberg. Bottom line- we found out that is missing his deep pereonal nerve. Never developed. The muscles around it are dead- b/c there is no nerve to keep them alive. They think this is the cause of his clubfoot as well. From what I have heard this is very very rare. Possible..but rare. We need to meet with a neurosurgeon who specializes in nerve damage. I thought it was a long shot- but can anyone help me? I am looking for a good doc- but who? His legs are also growing at two different rates- the foot, the calf and the leg length are different from his good foot. I am feeling so overwhelmed. On another note- we stayed at the Hackerman-Patz house in Baltimore. It just opened 3 weeks ago. I have all the info on it and will fill you guys in. It is a great place for people to stay who travel to see Dr. Herzenberg. Thanks! Nolfo
