Guest guest
I am so glad Isabella's foot is getting better! Good luck and happy feet to you and her! Angel Gia,Diaga and Angel Update on Isabella Angel and Diaga thank you for helping me with Isabellas sore on her foot. I took out the tongue like Angel suggested and it worked. Her sore is healing and her other foot has no red pressure sores at all. I also removed the plastizoid insert in that shoe so when i tighted the strap it don't go over the sore. So far so good. I sure wish I knew about removing the tongues when Isabella first went into the DBB she has always had the red marks on her feet. Anyway, Thanks again!! Gia, I didn't end up going to St.Louis yesterday. I am so so sorry I didn't call to tell you. I totally forgot, it has been so hectic around here and it totally slipped my mind. I didn't even tell my in laws that I didnt go. Then when they emailed me I figured out I never told them I didn't go to the doctor. Anyway, her foot is so much better. I told a about it and she said she would pass it on to other parents who have the same problem and tell them about removing the tongue. She said they are cutting the shoes in the back now regularly for kids who get blisters on their heels. (I think you helped them realize that situation). You had an impact on them changing and doing that to the shoes. I will keep you posted on her foot. Our next appointment isn't until June 3rd or 4th. So let me know if you are going to St.Louis around then. Call me when you can. > Hello girlfriend, did you end up going to Shriners today? If you > did, I am sorry that I missed you guys. Guest guest
Daiga, I actually like it better with no tongue. I can get the strap tighter and you can see that the heel is completely down. In the mornings when I take off isabella's shoes you can see where the strap was. You know when the elastic is to tight on your socks and you can see the indentation of the socks on your legs. It don't last very long it goes away in less than an hour. Don't worry about not having the tongue when you tie the shoe strings. It don't bother her and she has no rubbing from the laces. Let me know how it goes. Try it for a few days. The red marks on isabellas right foot cleared up overnight, but the one with the sore is taking awhile. It is slowly getting better but it was really really bad. So I think in another few weeks it should be completely gone. Let me know how it goes ok. I am anxious to hear if it works for your son as well, Good Luck. > > > Hello girlfriend, did you end up going to Shriners today? If you > > > did, I am sorry that I missed you guys.
