Having my best friend going to meetings with me has really been the

key to my success. I was on WW once before, and lost & gained the

same 3 pounds over & over. I skipped meetings a lot, and was in

near tears for a lot of meetings from hearing others success while I

was doing so badly.

This time, I've never missed a meeting, I've lost 31.5 pounds, and

the meetings are a positive experience for me. I don't think I

would have stuck with it without my friend. She feels the same way

about her success.

I know we all have to really want this for OURSELVES, but sometimes

having a friend to feel responsible to, and to show support for can

make a huge difference. It has in my case.

Congrats on you wonderful decision to join WW & good luck with your

plan!

I am going to venture off to find a new Leader, meeting day, and

to listen to the Wednesday night leader Barb. She is excellent and

motivated one of my other friends to lose close to 70 lbs (who has

kept it off for two years). Go Val!!!!

the last week of the year so, we can both wanted to start the New

Year on the right foot.

Terra -

Congrats on getting back on the program. I am also trying to get

back on board and stay OP 100% for the rest of the month! I hope

that we can encourage each other to stick with it.

Your idea of having your friend join with you is such a great idea!

Good luck!

Rededicating myself to WW and getting

Serious about WW again

Hello All,

I have been falling by the wayside a bit with all the holiday functions at

work as well as outside of work. I haven't been eating out of control, but I

haven't journaled or really exercised over the past couple of weeks...and

boy I can tell a difference. Won't be able to dry the jeans for awhile.

Hi Terra,

You must have been reading my mind today as I was thinking the same thing.

In the last month I moved from Indiana to Nevada back to Indiana and now I

am in Germany. I was on the military shuttle bus and decided to get back on

track tomorrow. I don't have a scale (mine is being shipped) and will be

doing WW on my own as I don't know much German yet. I bought some bread,

lunch meat and cereal the other day and will be eating that instead of going

out.
