Thanks! I feel so much better knowing this doctor doesn't think I have lupus

either! Like that's all I need right now - another AI disease :)

I hope this new endo is that good, too. I'm reluctant to go to another endo

after the first experience with Mr. Just-Have-RAI, but if they're at least

willing to check for Hashi's also, I suppose I can give it another try! It's

so much trouble to go down there, but I know how far Jody goes for her

doctor, and it's worth it for her!

I'm not sure what to do about the internist. My mom's a nurse and she found

that a little disconcerting. She says I definitely have to get my records

corrected there - I hadn't really thought about that, but she's right on.

I'm just not sure how to go about it yet. I still can't figure how he got SO

mixed up on that? Weird. I've got to get a copy of that letter. Maybe he's

got Graves' brain, too! It's contagious!

Now I just have to wait for the lab results. And they're even sending my own

personal copy without me having to ask ;)

- who was so drained yesterday she fell asleep at 9:30!

Hi ,

I too, am so happy about the doc visit you had. This is going to help in the

future, if you get another BAD doc, because you won't keep doubting yourself

You quickly mentioned that she said you do NOT have arthritis. How did she

decide this ?

How bout grabbing him by the throat and saying...'LISTEN IDIOT'. I know I

am being a bit radical here, but , the fact that he has you listed

as having RAI has just stuck in my craw and I am angry over it. That is

sloppy work on his part, shows he hasn't bothered to read your file, wasn't

listening when you told him that first day you would not have RAI and can't

remember telling you 'you didn't need RAI' ... trust me when I tell you, I

am being *kind* about him just calling him an idiot, in my mind there are

many other adjectives attaching to that!

Your right, you do need a copy of that letter.

Now that you mention it, I'm not sure exactly how. She did a lot of bending

of my arms and legs, feeling the joints, the knuckles in my hands, etc. Had

to squeeze her fingers, push and pull against her hands, bunch of stuff like

that. She said there wasn't any swelling of the joints. Some of the blood

work had to do with it too, but she said it was all things I've had tested

before and were normal last month, so she suspects those will also be normal

again.
