I don't know about Valtrex because I have not used it, but I use two

separate OTC anti-virals, and they both cause major yeast for my kids,

so I give them with three separate OTC anti-fungals. I also chelate

with ALA, altho my kids were basically finished with chelation before

I started anti-viral.

Does chelation still cause yeast for your child? If so, the

combination of chelation plus anti-virals might cause way too much yeast.

Yeast can cause gas and/or constipation, and ALA can cause yeast.

Perhaps your child's yeast is not susceptible to Nystatin, so giving

the Nystatin actually made it worse?

Thanks for your response

What anti-virals & anti-fungals did you use? So are saying the

Nstatin could cause yeast for him? Did you use the activated

charcoal?

Thanks,

M.

I use Lauricidin and olive leaf extract as anti-virals. This causes

yeast, and it needs GSE, oil of oregano, and uva ursi to keep the

yeast away.

Nystatin is only effective for certain strains of yeast. So if your

child has OTHER strains, then killing the certain strains might allow

the OTHER strains to increase.

Not personally no. My kids don't have die off symptoms, they just

improve.

There is disagreement as to whether charcoal absorbs (reduces

effectiveness of) supplements. So I don't know.

I don't know of any reason that you could not use these together,

but of course this is a lot to do at once.

ALA did *sometimes* cause gas, for me, especially when I was

taking higher doses of ALA.

good wishes,
