The stress good be giving your adrenals a nasty whack..... that can cause

an increase in pressure when standing, or is it the other way around????

Brain fart.... someone jump in..... Adrenals funky is blood pressure up

or down upon standing????

Any chance that you can do some stress relief type stuff until the labs

come back and you have a better picture?

A quarter grain increase a month ago should be causing problems unless

you may be having a Hashi's flare (if you're TSH isn't suppressed

sufficiently and you are dealing with Hashi's)....

How is your temp? Are the others running fevers?

I have not been taking my temperture and no one else in my house is

funning a fever right now. My oldest daughter had a fever about a

week and ahalf ago. But she is fine now. It looks like we all have

gotten a cold and congested head and chest. It feels like a Hashi

flare up. I have not had one of those in a couple of months right

now and it is getting me very upset and also I am having anxiety

attacks too. Should I be taking my tempeture right now? What will

that show me? Thank you for all your help and advice. It means more

to me then I can put into words.

Thank you and God bless you

Hi Theresa,

I DID IT!!!!! WOW!!! I managed to copy and paste part of the

article. Took ages but here is what it says on

http://tuberose.com/Adrenal_Glands.html which is a very

comprehensive site all about the adrenals.

So this is what they have to say:-

" Normally when a person goes from lying down to standing, the

systolic blood pressure should elevate 4-10 mm Hg. (millimeters of

mercury). In hypoadrenia, the systolic blood pressure from lying to

standing will either stay the same or drop. This systolic drop is

usually between 5 to 10 mm. Hg., but sometimes as much as 30-40

points. This is a classic sign in the hypoadrenic person which is

known as the Ragland effect, or postural hypotension, and which is

reported in over 90% of hypoadrenic persons. Blood pressure should

always be checked in three positions: sitting, then lying, then

standing. From recumbence to standing, the systolic blood pressure

should rise 4-10 points. If the blood pressure drops, suspect

functional hypoadrenia. " Hypoadrenia is the name for adrenals not

working to capacity. Hope this helps and when you have some time to

read up on it, this site is about the best I have found.

Thank you for the info I will look that up. But my problem is my

blood pressure goes up when I stand up. Does the adrenals not

working can that affect that going up too?

Thanks
