Guest guest
Hi All! What did you do about bringing prescription (and OTC) medications with you to the hospital? I'm a hospital pharmacist, so I know that here we strongly prefer that patients use the hospital supply. Hospitals don't want the legal liability of having their employees administer medications of questionable origin. We may (and almost certainly do) have some medications that are unavailable in Belgium, and visa versa. Counting down the days until I leave for Belgium! Guest guest
Hi , I took along the medication I was taking at the time (Vicodin), and the folks at the hospital did not inquire about it nor about where I had purchased it. Fortunately, I stopped taking them the day of the operation and have not needed one since. Best of luck to you; you have made an excellent choice in Dr. De Smet and the staff at the Jan Palfijn Hospital.
