Hello,

I have had no luck with my Blue Cross HMO plan. I decided to go to

Belgium because I can't wait any longer and will try to submit the

paperwork upon my return. Another resurfer, Michigandar Mike, just

posted a message in which Blue Cross/Blue Shield covered his entire

surgery(!) so there may be hope for us Californians yet.

Best of luck to you,

> does anyone know if blue coss of ca. has ever paid for

resurfacing.

blue

Where do you work?

Since the Independent Medical Review in Cal overruled HMO denials, it may be

the ultimate irony that only HMO's in Cal will be forced to cover resurfs.

Which doctor works at UCLA (Amstutz used to be chief of surgery but no

longer operates there - if he had, he would have been in my network.)

Beaule has a second clinic there which I found out recently - so are you going

to him?
