We lived in the Piedmont(central part of state) for 15 years and the weather was great, but for the last 2 years, we have lived high up in the Blueridge Mountains. Our winters remind me more and more of MI! A lot of FL retirees come up to this resort area for the summers. We don't have anyone left in Flint anymore. Those left in the state are either in Lansing or Ann Arbor. We're going up to Torch Lake for a family reunion in July. My husband is from a family of 8 children, so it will be a BIG reunion.
