Dan,

now that I'm actually thinking....(which isn't often! lol)....

The reason why the lawyer said that you can't have you nails cut might be because he's thinking that your foot might be too sensitive to have someone else touch it.

Some of us with RSD that has in a foot or hand, are way too sensitive, and just the lightest breeze, touch, and some swear, even looking at the hand or foot makes it hurt worse......so, to have someone touch your foot to cut your toenails might sound impossible to someone if they know that the sensitivity is a major issue.

But, then there are others who doesn't have the sensitivity problems. Anyone can touch the limb that hurts and not phase the person at all.

Does that help you any?

-------Original Message-------I am new to this group. I have had RSD for seven years. Currently,I am involved in a disability case. I go (drugged up) to have my toe nails cut when necessary. The opposing lawyer said if you really have RSD you can't have your nails cut. Has anyone every had a problem justifying how one's nails are done?Dan
