Guest guest
> My question is how is the virus titers tested, is that a blood test and how do you check for themeasles virus. Cheri, Our doctor did it by doing a blood test. I think it is simply called a test for viral titers. I think there are several different types of viral titers that could be elevated. Our doctor did not check my son for measles because he had no adverse reaction to the MMR and he did NOT regress after the MMR. Because a blood test isn't exactly easy on a child, I think the doctors try to limit the testing based on the history of the child rather than just run every possible test there is. Good luck,
