Guest guest
Angel, Dr. Ponseti would like you to email him directly if you are interested in bringing Kai to the symposium!! He has lots of kiddos already but may want some others?? Even so if they don't need Kai for the presentation I sure hope you can go for the information and to meet the other parents!! Take Care, Charity PS Could you email (claugauga@...), she just found out that her son has a-typical clubfoot and could really use your input!! Re: Re: NOV Symposium - / Charity, I would really like to bring Kai to the symposium and I think this would be enough notice for us to do it, but what I would like to know is if Dr Ponseti would want Kai there ... reasons being he may or may not have a corrected (or relapsing) foot at that time, and he does not have a " normal " clubfoot. I would think from a teaching perspective that wether he was corrected or in need of more casting it would be a good opportunity to show an atypical foot at *some* point of the process, and one of the reasons for the Brace. I guess my concern is this - there is no way of knowing until the time of the symposium whether Kai would be a 'success' story, or in need of casting. Does this make any sense?? Maybe I should contact Dr Ponseti directly about it ... ? let me know what you think, and if you need more information. Angel
