Guest guest
I started my son on a fairly low dose of B6 a few weeks ago. He was already taking magnesium. About a week ago he did some detoxing - really nasty liquid mucousy foul-smelling stools. I have seen amazing improvements. However, his stools have continued to be loose...he only has one a day but it is very loose. Tonight he has the start of a yeasty-looking rash. Is this from the B6? What do I do about it? I definitely don't want to stop the B6. I did an internet search for yeast-free brands & most of them are quite inexpensive -- is that worth a shot? or do I need to get the Kirkman's brand? I've been wanting to start him on a probiotic anyway & will pick him up one tomorrow. What else? I was going to wait until we saw a new dr but obviously I need to treat the rash. He's already grain free dairy free etc. He's a pretty picky eater. Diet wise the only other things to restrict are potatoes, fruit, & tomatoes, and the only vegetables he eats are tomatoes, cucumbers, & peppers. The fruit, he eats a lot of bananas & apples, sometimes peaches or grapes. With his diet already so limited I hesitate to go any further...that would just leave him with chicken, pork, nuts, peanut butter, cucumbers and peppers to eat. What are your thoughts? -Sara. I have not treated a yeasty rash in myself or others, but have read that things like probiotics and GSE can be used topically and are effective. If you have probiotics capsules you can mix it into water to make a paste. I have also read that this (probiotic paste) is very effective for ear infections (put a few drops in ears). more yeast info: http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm /files/neutrophils.html good wishes, Moria >
