I must own up to not liking tights so I either go bare legged with a skirt or if I am going out I wear stay up stockings. They have the added advantage of making me (and DH) feel good. Guest guest
I just read one posting about stay up stockings; they never stay up on me Now I don't have any problems with them (except the price). I obviously have " standard " size legs! I usually buy M&S but had to resort to normal ones last time we went out as I could not afford M&S £5 ish just for me! Trisha SAHM to 3 boys feeling really grotty today! going for a sleep on the sofa whilst DS3 is in bed!

Guest guest
hi, I was wondering whether friends also toss you the seconds of their children. I used to pass some old clothes to my best friend whose son is 5 years younger than Jake (Jake is 12). Now she's tossing me her seconds as her son has grown much taller than Jake. Now it's not that these clothes look childish (what's the matter with kid clothes, they look so mature?). It's just that it seems hard for Jake to get clothes that are too small for a 7 year old. What do you think? ps. he does wear some clothes that are too small for his younger sisters, but that's just anonymous stuff like white shirts. karen
