I'm confused. Isn't an uptake WBS also done after RAI to check uptake?

Not every doctor does an uptake scan.

I had one done before my first RAI scan, but never since.

If you did have one done, it probably would have been done on the same day as

your pre ablation scan, but not with the same camera. A thyroid uptake

usually involves putting a probe near the neck and

then the thigh for several minutes each.
