Guest guest
A family friend has taken Prednisone for about 10 yrs now since she had a liver transplant and she told me (I took it short term for asthma too) that she just eats between meals, so basically she eats like 6 small meals per day and that helps her. She also has to excursus each day as part of her transplant regimen. And she tells herself that it's the medicine making her hungry and that she 'really is not hungry.' She is not over weight in the least. Me The medicine it self seldom makes one fat unless it has calories. But it can make ones metabolism slow down and thus it is harder to lose. It also can make one feel hungry. My doctor told me beware of heart burn medications like Nexium as once you no longer have heart burn you want OT eat a lot more. So be aware and take care. The weight will come off. Sherry Start where the learner is. - Dewey
