Guest guest
Follow-up I FOUND THIS ON ANOTHER SITE, THOUGHT I WOULD PUT IT ON HERE YOU ALL OF YOU. FIGURED YOU WERE WONDERING ALSO.. LOL OF COURSE EACH DR. MAY DO IT DIFFERENT. NANCY Patients should see a doctor for a monitoring exam every three months for two years after being treated for colon cancer, every six months for the next three years, and every year afterwards. They should have an annual chest X-ray. A colonoscopy should be performed three to six weeks after surgery to check for tumors that might have been missed by the surgery. If no recurrence is found, colonoscopy is performed a year after surgery and then every two to three years afterwards.
